Well that all depends.  When you bought the phone did you also buy insurance for it?  If so, a replacement it should be free or almost free.  If not and your contract is close to being up for renewal you can probably convince them to only charge you the upgrade price of a new phone.  Otherwise, you'll probably end up having to buy a new phone at full retail price.  But go into a Verizon store and explain the situation to see what, if anything, they can do to help you.

Depends if you have a contract and your only one year into it. So you will have to pay for the extra year. For example 15 dollars a month for 12 months would cost you 180 dollars to get out of the contract =(
