  1. Once you sign a contract, you are obligated to fulfill that contract.  You can't pay your way out.  You are probably thinking of the old military drafts during America's "early wars" in which you could pay a replacement to take your place during a draft. Sorry

  2. Are you a wussy or a yellow belly coward?!

Be a man and do your time in the military with pride!

YOU might learn a thing or two!

  3. i know you can if you have lot like winning the lottery or something cause they dont want someone that doesnt want to be there like if you was really rich. thats what i heard anyways

  4. u can buy ur way out but im not sure how much it is to do so but i will say its more money then most ppl will have if there willing to join the Army

  5. that is no longer an option.

  6. I think the last time you could buy your way out of the Army legally was under Lincoln in the Civil War.  But you can't do that today.  Sorry.

  7. 0 dollars you cant get out till time is up

  8. There used to be a provision in one of the Chapters that would allow for separation in the event of some sort of windfall -- inheritance, lotto, the like.  I think the idea was that such an individual would be a disruption to the unit.

Never heard of it being used though.  And I don't know if it still exists.

  9. shoulda joined the Marines...huh?
