  1. Its free to enter Israel. Only beware. Hamas may charge later.

  2. Unless they're now into taking bribes in Israeli customs, you should need to show none.  Proof of your financial capacity to sustain yourself during your stay should be determined at immigration.

And if you're American, they won't hassle you for sure.  They want every dollar they can get your hands on.

  3. I never had them check my money, or even ask about it.

  4. Most countries that ask are generally satisfied with a credit card or bank book.

any sign that you have money to take care of yourself  and leave when done.

  5. No payment is required to enter Israel - it is free.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Miche ; })

  6. There is no actual fee for passing through customs. You might have to pay duty on certain goods if you are taking them into the country.

I thought at first that you were suggesting that Jewish customs officials required a bribe to let you through! Whilst this might happen in certain unscrupulous countries, it certainly does not happen at Israeli customs!

If your tickets, visa, etc. are valid and you are not carrying any banned or dangerous items, you will have no problem. Best wishes for an enjoyable stay.
