How much money (dollars) do i need for a trip to england?

My friend and i are planning a trip to england to visit my relatives. We wont need to pay for food or hotels, so how much on average do you think we will need (in dollars please) for spending, sight seeing, airfare, ect. Thanks for the help!

Hi,

How long are you going for? I'm doing these calculations on $2 - £1.

Flights are approx $800.

Shopping, I'd take about $100-$200 if you want to buy a few outfits.

Sight seeing, I'm assuming you're going to London. You can see all the main sights for around $60, get a tube ticket and go round yourself, dont get scammed by the tour buses.
