How much money for a talent agent?

hello , i am 14. i have been interested in the pursuing the acting career for a while now. i have already made my resume and i will soon be taking photos for it. there is only one question i have .. how much does an actual talent agent cost?? if you have any idea or any suggestions for me i'd love to hear them!

Legitimate Agencies work on commission only usually, 10%

If you are asked for money, they,are a scam!

you should start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

but agents are free n get only 10-20% of what you make

Fame and Fortune has a price. You better be looking into it for a love of acting and performing not because you want to be on the cover of some magazine.

agree with newyorkgal71.  But one agency I work with charges 20% (to the producer)
