How much money has the M6 Toll road collected since it opened?

how ironic that i have came across this question! I was wondering the exact same thing.

I have also learned that all the profit goes halfway round the world to AUSTRAILIA. Yip an Austrailian company ownes it.

anyway back to the question, i found out they have a website, that i dont know why, its a road, but it tells you how much the coffers are taking

I will only use this atthe requuest of my wife. i feel i am paying at least twice for this road.

1. road tax

2. Patrol tax

3. VAT on petrol tax

4. Vat on repairs

Welcome to rip offf Britain. the factthat other countries have a toll system is immateril  we should not. end of story
