Not in terms of running expenses, but as in how much did you allocate to buy them in the first place?

  1. contrary to alot of the others answering this question me and my family value fine cars. The ones we have purchased are as follows:

    my and my moms

    2007 Range Rover supercharged- $79,000

    2008 Lexus LS460- $65,000

    2008 BMW X6- $65,000

    Grandparents;

    2006 Mercedes Benz g55 AMG- $85,000

    2007 BMW 760LI- $105,000

    Then his baby

    2007 Bentley GTC- $193,000

we definitely have a love for fine cars, because when you drive these cars you can tell why you pay 200 k for a car, there's a lot more to them then just handiwork and parts.

  2. big money $$$$$$$$ don't buy

  3. $83,000 in total for our W211 Mercedes E500 :[

  4. 1968: $700 for a 1962 Valiant

    1978: 3500 for a  1795 Valiant

    1981: $9600 for a 1981 Horizon

    1993: $5500 for a 1988 Dodge Aries

    2004: $1100 for a 1990 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible

    2005: $8000 for a 2002 Mazda Miata (salvage title)

2008: $6000 for a 2005 Chevy Cavalier from the insurance money from when the Miata was wrecked by some guy running a red light.

I still drive the 88 Dodge. My daughter took the Cavalier with her to grad school.

Pay over $10,000 for a car! Are you mad?

If I won the lotto I might buy a new Miata for $26,000 but only if I had more money than what I knew what to do with.

Otherwise, at the end of the year I am looking for maybe a 2005 Cobalt or Neon for maybe $7000. Or maybe a 1990s Miata for a hobby car.
