  1. Depends on the date you leave and where in the states you leave from. To give you an example I did a search from Washinton DC to Rome Italy leaving ON July 31 2008 and coming back on Aug 24 2008.  A non stop flight was $1757 and a flight with stops was $1447.00  You can check out other dates from cheaptickets.com
