I would work out your transport/ accommodation first.  Thats the killer.  

After that its food. It depends on where and what you eat but can easily pay up to 20 euros a main meal.

You can then look at how much you can spend on things per day after that. I took lots of photos and bought postcards, but not much else apart from a few glassware items, wine and cheese.

I went to Italy for about 11 days and accommodation cost me about 500GBP (I stayed in a real variety of accommodation).

You will obviously need a contingency money source for anything .
