It doesn't cost anything to visit the Trevi Fountain or the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele.  Both are public places.  If you throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain it is supposed to guarantee that you will return to Rome.

hi im italian and la fontana di trevi(like the other monuments)are pubblic so free..but u have to spend much in hotel and in restaurant..im gelous of u 'cause u are american:Pim sorry 4 the english..idont speak very well...im a teenager
