  1. 1. Lift tickets - It's usually $50-60 per day per person where I go.  There are bulk rates where you buy a six pack of tickets or mid week that can come into play too.

    2. Skis rental - generally in the $30 range.

    3. Accomendation - $25 and up.  There's a hostel in the town at the base where I stay.  It's $50/person and up to stay on the mountain I find.

    4. Lunch or Dinner - Add $5 to whatever you'd spend anywhere.  The farther from options you are the higher the food price.

    5. Transportation expenses - I live about 300km from the mountain.  It's one tank of gas in my car (round trip) to go so that's about $60.  The ski bus is $35 for a day trip.

    6. Other - I think you pretty much covered it!

Budget about $100 a day if you don't own gear, not including travel expenses.

Most mountains have websites that will lay out the prices for lift tickets and rentals so you can rough that out, add about $30 a day for restaurant food and then some money for gas/bus/whatever.

For me I can spend as little as $15 on a day and that's pretty much all on food.  I get a lift ticket through work, own my own gear and sometimes get to take a work vehicle for the drive.

  2. lift  ticket 0 (season pass 209)

own all equipment (set up 800)

    accomendations 0 ( i drive)

    lunch 5.60 for pasta

    transport 30 in gas

    other none

  3. 1. Free or really cheap. Last month we did 3 days for $51.50 per person. That cost may still go down as we haven't used all of the tix that we got with the deal yet. Backcountry trips are almost always free unless I have to pay for a permit.

    2. We own our own stuff...but I might drop $30 to demo something cool. I usually don't have to pay for my demo skis either. (Industry advantage.)

    3. Usually about $100 pp for 3 nights. Maybe more if we get a nicer place...cheaper if there is more of us to throw in for a nice condo. Backcountry trips are also really cheap. Many of the USFS campgrounds don't even require a fee in winter. AMC huts are really cheap in winter time too.

    4. If we eat out all of the time I spend $5 on breakfast, maybe $6 on lunch and we'll blow $25 on dinner (including beer.)

    5. Whatever gas costs. I can make it to VT or the Adirondacks on one tank...so $100 round trip for my car. I haven't flown to a ski destination in years. Last time I went out west I even drove. Two days out, six days there, and two days back. I think we blew about $350 on gas...but that was before we were paying $3.00 a gallon.

    6. Beer money...$24 so I can pick up a case of the local microbrew; $100 for the clearance racks at the gear stores; and maybe $10 or so for stupid stuff you forget...like lip balm, sunscreen, etc.

  4. Lift tickets-$50-80/day depending on if I acquire a discount

Skis rental-$0 I own my own skis to avoid this cost and ski on better skis.

    Lodging-$40-200/day

Lunch or Dinner-Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner $40/day

    Transportation expenses-Airfare $250-350

    Thrill of skiing: PRICELESS!!!

  5. I recently went on a 2 day 1 night trip.

    $148 includes transportation, hotel, 1 day rental/lift.

    Spent around $60 on meals

and another $35 on rentals for the 2nd day.

    Came out to around $275-$300

  6. 1. Lift ticket is gratis, I teach.

    2. I own my skiis

    3. I round trip it or stay in the basement of a lodge for nothing.

    4. PBJ or a TV dinner  $2.00

    5. Gas each day is about $30/ round trip.  Total mileage 120 miles/ day.

    6.  Beer at home, maybe one if I stay overnight $5/ schooner.

  7. I go  skiing in colorado where lift tickets can be over $80 some days

the rentals are usually about $80 it can depend on what equipment you get.

Lunch and dinner can be about $15- 20 a person.
