  1. Anything from a few hundred pounds up to several million!

Seriously if you want to buy a good riding horse I'd say you are looking at about £8,000 ($16,000).  Good horses take time and money to train and you have to pay for it.

  2. Horses can really vary in cost depending on what you are looking for. What breed? what discipline? etc.. Just know that buying the horse isn't the only cost, there is a very long list of on going costs for the upkeep of the horse.

Before you buy a horse just think of where you would keep it, do you have adequate expeirence in case something went wrong, what would you feed, how would the horse be excercised, and mostly will the horse be looked after properly?

I don't mean to scare you off, but it is a big decision, with a lot of time and money invovled!

I hope you make the right choice =]

  3. A good show horse could run you $20,000 easily.

  4. how rich are you???????? buy me some cars

    your looking at thousands

  5. Ouch, the average horse price in in the mid-thousands area.Though,it depends on the breeed.Sorry that's all I know.

  6. wow you are the most amazing boyfriend ever! i can't believe you would buy her a horse! well done buddy

  7. about 4,000 dollars about as much as an used car

  8. Well this is in the horse racing section so for a thoroughbred looking for a good one?

40,000$ canadian and for standardbred about 28,000

You said a good one. You don't know how good it will really be though. Its all risk. Just the blood lines help.

  9. The cost of the horse may be a non-issue.  The CARE of the horse is where the money goes.  Between food, vet bills, shots, and time to take care of the horse will run far more than the cost alone. You can find a nice riding horse for maybe $1000 maybe less. Older horses usually make fine trail horses. There is alot of time involved with a horse plus the acreage needed to allow for exercise and a barn.
