How much money??

im going to paris in july, 4 days in disneyland 3 in central paris, i want to know how muchmoney im going to have to take roughly for two of us... ive heard its REALLY expensive, so was budgeting £50 a day for meals, so for the week about £700 is this too much/not enough??? is paris really very expensive??

its as expensive as you want it to be....set a budget and stick to it!

dont eat in mass tourist areas, this is rip of central, check out where the locals go, usually cheeper, and probably nicer too.

it's the summer... prices will be jacked up... when i went to paris my sister and i jus went to a bakery and bought a bagette a bit of cheese and cheap bottle of wine.  coffee is around 2 euros...saved us loads of money for a real nice meal at the end!

You would be OK with £700 but just to be sure you need a bit more, leave some room for unforeseen expenses. £1000 would be better....but why not using bank/credit-card?

Paris is a safe place but don't keep all your money/cards in one place....you'll never know what can happen.....

In quarter Latin there are some cheap restaurants...Restaurant Chartier in rue de Fauburg very crowded but cheap. In  Rue de la Huchette there are several little restaurants one of those is Meteora (greek restaurant), a 3 course menu is only €10!!

Disneyland is very expensive, but eating out in Paris proper much less so.

well, im gonna be sarcastic, but you say you ll spend 4 days in disneyland, 3 in paris... so why do you ask if "paris" is expensive ? you'll spend more time in disney than in paris !!

disneyland is really expensive, dont expect to save money: it's a tourist area where you have to spend your money to drink, eat, or do anythg.

paris can be expensive... or not. depends of what you want, where you go... in paris city, i give you some prices (sorry for € prices) :

- a coffee : 2-2.50€

- a sandwich : 2.80-4.50€

- a McDonalds complete menu : 6.50€

- a cheap menu in a restaurant (as a "salade"), usually for lunch : 12-15 €

- a dinner in a good restaurant : 15-25€.

- in an expensive restaurant : 30- ?? €

so, 50£ a day (= 60€) is really OK in "paris"!!
