  1. That depends on what you mean: Do you want to find out how much the cost of living would be, or are you planning to come to London for a month to be tourists?

For cost of living I think the below website is quite good:

    http://www.workgateways.com/working-cost...

For being a tourist: It completely depends on your wishes, so not really possible to give you a number.

    Have fun either way!

  2. I'll guess you're talking about a family of four:

For accommodation, a one-month short let 2 bedroom flat in a decent location will cost about £500-750 pw, so budget about £2500 for accommodation alone (£625 pp). Good central locations will be even more expensive. Decent hotels are more expensive again.

Living expenses (food, drink, etc) will be from £50-£1000+ per person per week depending on how often you want to eat out, and where you want to eat out. For a normal one course lunch and two course dinner out, with one bottle of wine to share with dinner, you will be looking at £25 per person per day, and another £5 for breakfast. So if you eat out for all three meals but don't go mad on the cost, then about £1000 per month per person.

Add to that an allowance of £20 per day per person for travel and entrance to attractions, and you need another £2500 to cover all four.

So, in total, I'd say budget for a minimum of £6000. You could do it for less, but you'd have to compromise your enjoyment, and for a saving of 20-30% it's not really worth doing that. IMO.

    Hope that helps .

  3. I'd say at lease £2000. Things in London aren't cheap esp with taxi fares and sightseeing. I'd be tempted to take more just incase
