How much money should I be making per hour doing the accounts payables for a business?

I am working for a car dealership making 10hr, but I just don't think thats enough.

You should be making at least 13. I do house cleaning and i make 18/h to start!! my husband makes 35 as a carpenter and my friends do the books (accounting) for a construction company and makes 17 after 1 year.... just some food for thought.

Do you have a college degree in Accounting? If you're just a HS grad, you won;t make the same as a college grad

It really depends on where you live and the full extent of your work.

If you are just an accounts payable clerk, posting stuff on the computer, $10/hr is about right unless you live in a high cost of living area.
