I'm going to Ireland in two weeks for my honeymoon and I was wondering for 5 days how much money I should probably bring for the two of us (just spending money) and If you know of any most-go-to places in Dublin.

  1. honestly, I would bring a credit card, such as Visa or Mastercard. They are accepted in most places, such as toruist sports (The Cliffs of Moher), and in most restraunts. i went to Ireland for 2.5 weeks and brough 800 Euro and a credit card and came home with 400 Euro.

Some good sites: Crough Patrick, Cliffs Of Moher, Queen Maev's Grave, the Hop-on hop-off bus tour in Dublin will give you many good sites, Temple Bar in Dublin, Knock, Giant's Causeway and the Blarney Stone are only some of Ireland's beautiful sites.

PS-Dublin is also kind of expensive...so I would say between 400-800 Euro for the two of you with a credit card should be okay.

Congrats on your marriage and have fun!!

  2. Budget 300 euros a day for accommodation and dining (mid range) and if interested in truly "touristy" spots, try to see:

    Grafton Street

    St. Stephen's Green

Merrion Square and The National Gallery

    National Concert Hall

    O'Donohue's pub

Book of Kells in Trinity College

    Templebar

    Guinness factory tour
