  1. You didn't mention if you were staying with a friend or staying in a hotel.  THAT is the big factor.  Allow money for travel either by taxi, tube or bus.  Meals are very expensive even for modest restaurants.  Yes, most places charge for use of the loo.  It used to be 20p but not sure what it is now.

At one time Harrod's charged a pound.  However, I must admit they are very nice facilities.

To have a decent amount of fun for a week I'd say   400-500 pounds if you don't have to have a hotel.

If you have to have a hotel, that amount wouldn't even cover your lodging.

  2. London is expensive so if you are going to eat, drink etc and maybe visit places where you need to pay to get in i would say £200 minimum

  3. if there is shopping in mind..............bring at least 1000 pounds...this is the least ...........if i would go.....i would say 2000 pounds

  4. where how long are you hear for?

    1 week holiday bring £500.

London is not a cheap place.

    Starbucks coffee £2.50

    pint of beer £3.20

    big mac £1.99

    Cinema ticket £7

    bus ticket £2

    entry into a night club £10 -£20

hope that helps, i just thought of some randome things you might be able to compare prices against.

  5. You didn't mentioned the period of your visit. It is diffecult to say any thing.
