  1. I think that $100 is a very nice gift!

  2. $100 is a great gift!! Believe me! There is no "right" amount. Usually people decide based on how much they know them and if your pocket allows. I think $100 is awesome!

  3. These days many people give $100 per person. ($200 per couple), unless it's your family.

  4. I think you gave the right amount.Thats enough. Not everyone has money to throw away.

  5. I personally would give $50, so i think you're being very generous with $100

  6. I would go look at the gifts on their registry. Compare the prices and take an average. Then add $10-20.

I personally think giving cash is better when someone is already getting a ton of gifts. They can use it on whatever they want.

  7. I give $100 for Ok friends, I give $200 for close friends and families.

The old rule of thumb is your suppose to pay for plate so you would give more if you live in NY vs. Mid West type deal.

  8. A lot depends on how close you are to the people getting married.  If it's a distant relative or a friend $100 would be fine, although if it's someone in your immediate family, you may want to boost it up a bit.  All this depending on your age and financial circumstances.

  9. Dont give them nothing and just say Congrats.

  10. You are not required to give any one amount. It's a gift - you give whatever you want or what you can afford. $100 is generous!
