How much money should I plan to spend at Dave & Busters for my boyfriend's 23rd birthday?

Ok, so I've never seen or been to a Dave & Busters before and my boyfriend really wants to go. His birthday is coming up on the 29th of July and I was planning on taking him. I am also going to invite about 3 or 4 of his closest friends. I was wondering if this is a good idea and if anyone knows approximately how much I should plan on spending? Thanks.

I think it is a good idea, but are you paying for everything?  I would think on average the food, drinks, and games would come out to 50-80 dollars per person depending on how much you eat, drink and play.  When I usually go to birthdays with friends, we split the check evenly (everyone except for the birthday boy or girl).  Personally what I do is have everyone put in a certain amount of money and then whatever is left over just give it back.  An example would be everyone pitch in 100 bucks and whatever the check amount is, we pay for it and then the change leftover gets split back evenly to whoever put money in.  Even though it is just a couple of people you are inviting, it might cost you a lot, so maybe before you have the party, ask everyone to pitch in.  But if you are rich and can pay for everything than go for it.  Either way I think your boyfriend will love this get together.  Which guy doesn't like good food, drinks, and good old arcade games?    What a good girlfriend you are.

You are obviously going to want to play the arcade games which for about an hours worth of fun will be anywhere from 20 to 40 bucks a person. If you plan on eating there, the meal will be about 10 to 20 bucks per person. Alcoholic beverages are the same as any bar.

You won't be able to leave without spending at least 30 bucks per person, if you're lucky.

I typically spend about 50-60 bucks.
