  1. You do know that Bermuda is not in the Caribbean, I hope.  It is not hot in the winter.  Bermuda is also very expensive.

You can find reviews from past guests at TripAdvisor.com.

  2. Don't. this gives you free accommodation and avoids you getting mugged.

    Simple

  3. Breakfast for 2 $30-50

    Lunch   "            $50-80

    Dinner  "            $100-200

    Happy hr.           $50-100

These are low and med estimates, so multiply by the amount of days/nights of intended stay.Depending on the type and quantity of cocktails you have with each meal prices can vary. Especially if you eat many or most meals @ the hotel. There is a restaurant just by the Princess just down the north hill called The Water Lot Inn, I have seen couples going for sunset dinners dressed to the hilt, in formal attire. I assume dinner there could easily exceeded $200.  My wife and I can run up a $100 happy hour tab pretty easily here in Bermuda. A formal dinner with wine almost always touches $200. for us, (favorite spot The Carriage House in St Georges) The Southampton Princess is a beautiful Hotel and estate, one of the best on the island. They even have a little shuttle bus that will take you off the property. Horseshoe Bay a famous beach is walking distance from the hotel (< a mile). 4. I live in Bermuda and It's great you should really enjoy yourself. It is expensive though so I would bring a fair amount of cash and atleast one credit card or bank card. It's much more safe than other "caribbean" destinations so you should be fine with cash. Just to let you know Bermuda is NOT in the caribbean just to let you know. If you are renting mopeds be very careful and if you are considering it then don' they are way too dangerous.

  5. Credit cards, bank cards, and checks work fine there... I wouldn't take more than what you consider safe....  Burmuda is a VERY safe place, but it does have some bad elements like anywhere else...

The Southhampton is VERY nice!  The Hamptons (twin hotels) are both VERY high class!  And in a GREAT locations...  You will be VERY happy!!!  right on the water - it is sooooo gorgeous!   They have a nice HUGE carp pond too - with TONS of LARGE pretty carp.  Best part of town too...

Get on the ferry and just go for the ride!  You don't even need to get off the boat - the view and the ride are GREAT and it is like $4 (US) and well worth the money.   Nice zoo and caves in bermuda!  If you drink, check out the native black rum - very sweet and different than most flavors like bacardi.

The end of the island has a great shopping place with dolpins you can pet etc...  Don't be afraid of the mopeds!  Get one and enjoy the island!

  6. More than enough ........
