How much money should I take to mexico for a weekend?

Im going there with some mexican friends next weekend. how much spending money should I bring? i have a place to stay.I dont plan to spend a lot of money. I dont want to go sightseeing. I just want to go there,party a little and drink alcohol.

You don't say where in Mexico you are going. I live in a state capital 30-40 miles from Mexico City. A weekend out in my town or Mexico City usually runs me about $200 USD. That's drinks, snacks, tacos,meals,cover charges, tips, gas and maybe a movie. I usually have breakfast at home on Saturday and Sunday.

Bring more just in case. You never know.
