How much money should a 13 year old get paid for watching 2 kids?

I'mm almost 13 and I want to know how much money I can get paid because my mom and my dad have work from 8 A.M. till 4 P.M for 2 weeks in the summer. I have to watch a 3 year old and a 6 year old until 4, and I'm wondering about how much an hour? Or should my allowance be raised?

Most babysitters now make about $15 an hour - Since your young and probably dont have any formal training (ie - being cpr certified) - you could probably ask for 10 and get it!

My sister is 13 and makes $3 an hour watching my brother's gf's kids - they are 7 & almost 9 yrs.

i would say you should get about 30 bucks.

is it ur siblings?? if it is, it shouldnt be as much $$

Since you are under age 14 it is against the law for you to watch children from 8:00am until 4:00pm.  So it really doesn't matter how much you should be paid...you shouldn't be doing it period.  If CPS hears of it your parents will be charged with child neglect and child endangerment and you and your siblings will be placed into foster care.  Now if it's only for a couple of hours I say to ask other kids your age what they get for babysitting.

I get paid 5 dollars an hour for one kid so i would say 7 dollars is fine

if it were me paying you, i would pay you a flat rate of 150 per week. if you want to get paid by the day and the parents are willing to pay you by the day, then you can ask for  40 a day. if you want to be paid by the hour, about 7 an hour would be good.

im 13 years old and i got paid 25 dollars for watching 2 kids for like an hour and all i had to do was play with them and keep them busy

Are they your siblings? If so, then, technically, they owe you nothing extra. But you can ask them for an increase in allowance, maybe $20 a week.
