How much money should i bring to.....

Question

Fashion bug in the mall! I'm going to be a freshman in high school, i am over weight so my mom and i are going to fashion bug, since it is more expensive i told her i will pay because i babysit a lot and get paid well, while my dad is layed off of work! So how much money should i get out of the bank??

It really depends on how much you stuff you need.  I'd consider skipping Fashion Bug and going to Target.  THey have some cute stuff in the 'heavy' section.  I'd make a trip to each spot first and put some things on hold, then make the decision based on what you like the most and what is on sale and how much money you have.  Focus on things that will coordinate with other things you already have at home really easily.  So you need to take a really good 'inventory' of what you already have.  What don't you wear that is in your closet and why.  If you don't like it or it doesn't fit - donate it.  If it does, but you just don't have any pants you like that go with it, lay it out on the bed along with other items in the same situation and figure out what you could buy that would go with two or three tops or pants or shoes, etc.  Getting the most bang for your buck takes some work.

I think total you should be able to get some things to at last get you through this school year for under $300 easily.  Just don't buy it unless it's on sale or you're completely in love with it.  Go to a few different stores.  If you go to the mall, walk into a Banana Republic or Gap or Express first to remind yourself what's in fashion for everyone, then try to steer in that direction, just larger sizes.

how expensive are you talking? expensive in my book is over 100 bucks if so definatly bring 500. if expensive to you is persay 20-30 dollars try 300 that way you can get a lot of clothes some you might even be able to wear next year

I am not sure, it depends on how much you want to buy.  However I have been there with my friend a couple of times and their stuff isn't really that expensive.  Its dirt cheap when its on sale actually.
