  1. i was there last week, its truly amazing,i was only there for the day though,i went on an excursion from my cruise, ocean village,The beach is Divine, you can pour your own soft drinks from a machine next to the bar, there is two bars on the beach,a volley ball pitch, wear your flip flops the ground is to hot,it was 29 degrees last week, loads to do,they have their own wind surfing gear for you to try,you can go out snorkeling, beautiful looking thatched roof sun bathing areas, tooo much to mention, happy honey moon, your about to embark on the must beautifulest wedding,i witnessed a wedding for a minute or two.and that's where i will be taking my daughter whe she decided to get married, and id even pay for the whole lot for her,ooh my advice is take money, the exchange rate in America isn't very good,it depends on what you want to buy,id say £100 a day that's about $200 a day in dollars, and the jocose is very very hot,the pool is much cooler

  2. don't take too much cash..they've got atms..plus u don't wanna get robbed with lots of cash

  3. Bring ~$1,000.00 U.S which would be equivalent to ~$70,000 JA dollars...Take lots of pictures and have fun ;)

  4. What you need for transportation when you leave the hotel, taxi, drinks, souvenirs special excursions.

Sandal will transport you to other Sandals in different areas of Jamaica..you may want to have dinner at a Sandals in another town.

Drinks, food, water sports and lessons, everything else is included at the all-inclusive hotel.

1-800-sandals will send you a free brochure and video.

  5. If you decide to do excursions outside of the resort I would budget 200 for both of you per day. We hire private cab drivers to take us where we want. It is cheaper to do this than book through the hotel. The cab ride from the MoBay airport costs about $120 one way if you are not taking a charter bus. You won't have to spend money on food or drink if you stay on the resort. When you leave the resort most meals range around 6-10 dollars and beer anywhere from 1.50-3.00 depending on the location (tourist areas are more expensive). We have not been to JA in June but we have been there in April and the temperature is 80-90 year round. I think that if you took 1000 dollars for both of you you will still come home with money. The first time we stayed at a Sandals it was busy but the place is so spread out that you are never congested or feel surrounded by people. There are ATM machines around the island but they spit out JA moneyand this being your first trip it might confuse you. I have also heard not to trust the ATM's in  JA. Have fun! Make sure you leave the resort and see the real Jamaica!
