  1. For a friend or close acquaintance, I'd say about $25.

  2. It depends who the person is. Normally is in the hundred dollar rage. I have a friend who's husband is an Orthopedic Surgeon, when my daughter had a herniated disk, he took care of her as if it was their own child. They would even call to check on her when they were on vacation....well, she's gets like a five hundred dollar gift on her birthday because she deserves it and I feel deeply in debt. ♥

  3. I would spend loads of money on you sweetheart.

  4. For me, it depends on the person. If its just a friend from school that I occasionally hang out with; probably 20 dollars. For some of my closer friends, 40-50 dollars.

  5. I think it depends on who the recipient of the gift is and the nature of your relationship with them.....I take my income into consideration as well.

I am on a fairly low income....and if I am buying gifts for family for Christmas and birthdays, I generally reckon to spend about £10 per person....or maybe a little more if I am feeling generous or feel as though I have the money. But it depends on the situation.

  6. I think the better you know the person, the more you should spend on them.  If they are your best friend, then  you should probably spend somewhere from $15-$20.  If you aren't that close to the person, maybe spend somewhere from $5-$10.  Hope this helps!
