So Im going to puerto vallarta for a week, but it's all inclusive. Im not planning on spending too much, but would like to do some shopping. I've already got ativities booked and payed for and i plan on speding alot of time on the beach. Do you think $350-$400 is enough??? And does allinclusive cover most drinks?

  1. All-inclusive (unless it has been changed) covers domestic alchohol (Mexican beer and rum and that).

I don't know what you intend to buy, but you will find that prices will be close to what you would have to pay in Canada or the US.

  2. I went to Cancun last year. I came back with all kinds of stuff for under 400.00. Mexican goods are cheap cheap. Take an empty suitcase. One piece of advice, we put bottled water in one of our checked suitcases so we had an empty one to bring our "finds" back. Some resorts don't include bottled water and it is not cheap. ABout 3.00 a bottle.

    HAve fun!!!!!!!!

  3. Mexican leather goods are half the price they are in Canada.

Cowboy boots for example here are$80.00 cdn and the same item in Canada $200 -400.

Hit the flea markets for clothing"Bargain Paridise"

Look for Karat Vodka $8.80 for a 1.75 liter that is $55.00in Canada. Gusano Tequila $13.00

    Leather purses are a steal.

  4. I think $350.00 will be enough money if you don't plan to buy a lot of things. Some alcoholic drinks aren't included, many are though. Have fun, I wish I was going! :).
