How much money to bring to mexico?

Going to peurto vallarta for a week. Its all inclusive but how much money should i bring for souvenirs, and a some shoppiong?? I was planning on bringing $3-400.

You should be fine with 400, but those touristy areas tend to be expensive, just as long as your not shopping for luxury goods, then you should be good, but then again, you might need more than $400, you might need to use it for taxis, food outside where your staying, and souvenirs, it all really depends on if your going to travel outside where you will be staying.  But since its all inclusive, you won't need much, so as long as you don't spend too much on those souvenirs or outside, you should be fine. If you want to be able to just follow your hearts desire, I'd bring closer to $1000. If you are trying to be cautious and conservative, $400 should be fine. Taxis, tips, t-shirts etc add up quickly.

And once you arrive you will hear about some great restaurants that are "must sees". So even though you CAN eat at the hotel for free, chances are you WONT every time. Carlos and Charlies, Senor Frogs are just a couple that come to mind.

Also you should be certain that alcoholic drinks are included in your package. Alot of all-inclusives actually exclude alcohol. Have a great trip.

You need to look at what amount you Customs will allow you to bring back and these laws are different from country to country.

I dont think you can bring quite that much in to America if thats where you are from.

You are allowed to bring goods purchased in P.V in this case, $750.00 duty free and remember I liter of liquor and a caton of smokes for someone you know can be bought "Boots" for $18.00 for a carton. Lot better that $60.00 $70.00 in T.o.
