How much money will i get a month with the new gi bill?

I go to a community college, full time. Tuition is only $20 a unit. Which comes out to $240 a semester. Will i get the 1300 a month plus the stipend of 1500 for my area?

  1. I am sure you have to go to school at LEAST half-time to qualify for the BAH, but heres the thing... you will not receive any money for tuition, the school will. Because you will be receiving the BAH, tuition and tutoring allowances, theres no need to make it anymore confusing... also, there is no tuition rate anymore, the GI Bill just goes ahead and pays your tuition for you, so if its 240 for that semester, the VA will pay the school that 240. Im from california... and how did i know? the 20 bucks a credit gave it away. I might be wrong.

  3. 1300 a month is only for full time i believe. the way i understand it is they will pay your tuition plus books plus give you bah rate for your area of an e-5 here is the link with the new info. i called the va and they said they dont even have any other info besides whats in this booklet
