How much money will i need to holiday in the UK from australia?

Is there a set amount of money I need to have with me in GBP before I can enter the country for a 1 - 2 week holiday.

Im not on about accomodation costs or travel costs, I just want to know are there set amounts of money I need .

Just enough to prove you can keep yourself, and not need support from others.Dont bring too much though, because they may think you want to stay.

and be prepared to pay alot for everything, this country is very expensive these days.
