  1. billions and billions.

"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime."

What they need is not daily needs, what they need is the resources and land to make a living for themselves.

It would be nearly impossible logistically to give them all of their daily needs

  2. not a lot.  It will, however take quite a bit of education, and far too many soldiers will die to bring the poor nations of Africa out of poverty and subjugation to Islam and dictators.

  3. There is no amount of money that can do the trick.  Why not?  Along with the money, you have to have in place perfect Utopian societies with incorruptible ways of distributing the food, resources and monies fairly.  Good luck coming up with that.

  4. you're thinking just like the gov't.  just keep giving them what they need year after year after year. why not give them what it takes to care for themselves, once.

  5. It is more than a matter of just money.  There are logistics of delivery, helping people understand how to use what they have especially if these are things like self help farmiong supplies and water puriofication things and maybe most complicated of all the combination of corruption (like government people taking and keeping for themselves what is meant for the poor) and fights, rivalries and prejudices which often keep help from reaching thsoe who need it most.

  6. I dunno, 4 bucks?

  7. it doesn't take money, it will take removing a corrupt government and adding knowledge

  8. We have given billions to Africa and it doesn't help.

Billions more won't help because the money goes in the pocket of corrupt leaders and never reaches the people who need it.

Because of corrupt men, there will always be poverty.
