Sometime tomorrow the following site, along with news papers will post the earnings amount. Per the site they are predicting 1,350,000

Some of the previous posts are correct. Generally, the Masters champion receives 18% of the total purse, which this year is $7,100,000. That would make the winner's share $1,305,000, the same that Zach Johnson received for his win in 2007.

i think some where around 5 mill.

The total purse is $7,250,000 - but the winner only get about a $1,001,000 (couple of years ago when the total prize payout was $5,600,000 the winner got $1,008,000) from what someone said here - thought that was kind of low to be honest.

What's really funny is this isn't an easy figure to figure out. What the winner gets, it's like a "big secret". Winning the Masters isn't like the majors where money is the big thing. Prestige is the big thing.
