  1. At least in California, they have a computer program called the Dissomaster. The court can put in both parties income, certain expenses (like health insurance), and percent of custody of the children.

It is never an easy amount to pay (and yes, females have to pay child and spousal support, too!). But such is the cost of divorce (and personally, even though the divorce was financially ruinous, it was worth it!)

  2. some court will deduct your wage for 70% of your wage...

  3. every state has a different percentage. NY is 17 percent before taxes

  4. It all depends how much money you make and if you live Colorado this state is very strick.

  5. Child support is determined by what both the mother and father make. I hate to tell you this but regardless of whatever other financial obligations you have- they will not matter one bit. (For example: you can't get out of it or pay a lower amount because you need to pay for school, a car, etc.

  6. normally support is a percentage based on your gross income and NOT your personal expenses.  everything after that is just fluff.  its the bottom line.

  7. Its a percentage of your income before taxes.. Its usually 17% or 18% percent.

  8. There should be a website you can go on for your state to check. There should be a worksheet you can fill out with all of your financial information and it should be able to give you a very good idea of what you will have to pay.

  9. Too much.
