Its a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL. (http://www.edmunds.com/pictures/VEHICLE/1996/Oldsmobile/1673/1996.oldsmobile.cutlasssupreme.8686-396x249.jpg) Its a pretty heavy car. It has a blown head-gasket, so I just want to junk it. How much money do you think I can get for it?

Thanks in advance!

  1. If its the whole car expect between $140 to $200 per ton.  Also keep in mind that you may be able to get $50 to $100 just for the catalytic converter.  Try link below to get current automotive scrap prices

  2. In NJ my local scrap yard pays $200.

  3. I live in WI too, send me a message if you wanna sell it, but youd probably get around 75-100, maybe 125

  4. In my area in Michigan we get $250. I take off the wheels if they are aluminum and for sure cut off the catalytic converter, some of those are $100 alone.

  5. Cars are worth at least 10 cents a pound.  I'd expect $400.
