  1. More than any other city on earth.  London was just rated the most expensive city in the world to live in.

  2. Weekly living expenses in London:

    Accommodation - £70-£100

    Fuel - £10

    Travel - £10

Entertainment (this depends on what you do&how often) - £25

Other expenses (cleaning, toiletries, miscellaneous) - £25

    Weekly Total - £140-£170

    For 52 weeks (1 year) - £7,280-£ 8,840

On top of weeklly costs there will be a number of one-off costs that you will need to consider:

Initial costs (for example bedding, clothes - remember the British climate may not be the same as what you are used to!) - £300

On-going occasional costs (clothes, days out etc.) - £300

Reserves (there will also be times when you will have to pay an unexpected cost, you should always make sure you have money to cover these) - £300

Therefore you will need between £8,180 and £9,740 for your living expenses per year.

So that would be between £682 and £812 per month.

    Hope this helps....
