I am doing a debate in school about universal health care and I need to find a source that would say how much we americans would have to spend per year on taxes if we had universal health care. This is the con side of universal and I need a source not just a number. Thank you in advance!

  1. I don't think there is an accurate dollar amount. The actual cost would depend upon what the "mandated" plans would cover.

Wisconsin is debating a form of universal health care. It is estimated the cost would be $15.2 billion, which is $3 billion more than the state currently receives in all income, sales, and corporate taxes.

  3. You can research on line how much the cost is per capita in Canada. They should be similar to us in cost. Remember to convert their dollar to ours. one of the problems we will face however is our increased cost per taxpayer to pay for all the under the table and illegals in this country.

  4. I don't have a website because no one really knows exactly how much it'll cost. It'll mostly depend on how much you make. Since it's the Democrats who are proposing the "universal health care", you can bet your *ss the higher income people are already going to see significant tax increases....especially if they implement a universal health care system.

If you read on Hillary's website, she says that the burden will be shifted from "working families" and small businesses in the form of tax credits. This pretty much means that she will tax the SH*T out of higher income families and larger corporations. This is very sad because we already have the 2nd highest corporate tax rate in the world(which is why many corporations are now moving their operations to other countries). And, I love her choice of wording. She says "working families" like the people who are wealthy don't work. The VAST majority of them worked their butts off to get where they are in life. But, I guess the greatly increased taxes aren't going to hit them too hard in the pockets considering the Clinton family has made over $100 million just since Bill left office.

They're trying to take the free market out of our economy, which will be the downfall of our nation. After that, we might as well call ourselves the U.S.S.A.(United Socialist States of America). After all, the road to socialism is paved with Democrats.
