How much money would it take for gas to go 900 miles?

using a 97 ford explorer.....V6 4WD

anyone have an idea how much it would cost?

the thing is the first 250 miles are in canada so the money is diff and the gas is in liters.

anyone have any idea how much it would cost? i have no idea how many gallons/liters the tank holds.....

well im thinking thats about three or four tanks of fuel would do it

Can you not figure this... how many miles a gal. does the car get? Lets say you get 20 MPG and your going 900 miles.. 900 divided by 20 equals 45 gals. Now how much is the gas going to cost per gal... lets say an average of $4.00 pet gal. so 45 gals. times $4.00 equals $180.00 in gas expenses. This could be a lot difference if your gas millage is more or less and you pay more or less average per gal.

You need to know how many miles per gallon your vehicle gets, then divide the miles in canada by the gallons used times the cost per gallon.

Do the same for the miles in the U.S.

Add the two together and you'll have your answer.
