  1. Poverty is moveable.

So if we made the poor rich, if there were some who had more money then the poor who would be made rich would still be considered in poverty because the definition would change.

You cannot get rid of poverty by giving money to them.

"Give a man a fish and they eat for a day, TEACH a man to fish and you feed him for life"

Look at the stats, those who are considered living in poverty have CABLE, Microwaves, Food enough to eat, cars...

So I have no sympathy for many of the so called poor. IF you want to be well off you must WORK an work hard. The rich, for the most part, got to where they are by being better than everyone else

  2. its so much i dont even no, i dont think anyone knows

  3. It can be cured for a short time but it takes increased productivity to eliminate it. That is the problem, if you split up the money evenly to everyone, no one will have enough to free up to invest so productivity will not increase and you will end up where you started but with everyone having less over time.

  4. why's that then you going to pay for it

  5. well dude before money, we need a fool proof plan or few plicies to eradicate poverty... the implementation of plan needs money, a h**l lot of money... bt money alone cnt help in removing poverty... v need a better planning n execution system n also ministers who dnt eat money... lol

  6. 1$ from you & the rest from others

  7. Actually it wouldn't be that much, there are some super rich people who could donate only a small portion and it would pull many out of poverty.

  8. a h**l of a lot

  9. If the world shared the wealth equally amongst everyone, we would all live like kings, unfortunately greed does not permit this!

  10. I calculated it on my calculator for you down to the exact penny.  It would take $967,068,763,496,493,953,020.93  The first digits (967) are in the whatever comes after zillions place.  This would give everyone on Earth that is in poverty 944,580.70, and yes, I am just three-missed paychecks away from poverty myself and would love to get my hands on my portion.

  11. Money does not cure poverty(long term) because it does nothing about the causes of poverty. Resources, education, and economic opportunities cure poverty

  12. if everyone would stop just wasting money like 1000 on a purse or something we could all be equal

that would cure poverty if we all shared our money until everyone was equal

  13. money won't cure poverty....... people have to

  14. i think if every one in the Western world gave 10 pounds each you might make a dent.

    59,000,000,000 x10 =590mill just from uk alone

  15. you cannot cure poverty without addressing what poverty is.

    freedom from hunger?

ownership of a computer with access to the internet?

    or something in between?

  16. About over $1 trillion dollars to cure poverty!

  17. Money does not cure poverty.

Education and one's luck are the cures to poverty.

    An adage says,

"don't give me fish, teach me how to fish"

With the level of  one's education, you could be nominated a Senator of  a country. With luck, one could win election. By so doing,  one has been brought out of  poverty.

  18. not as much as people would think it would be quite simple and if we didn't have so many greedy selfish people there wouldn't be so many starving helpless people!!!!
