  1. If you are going to Iraq or Afghanistan, YOU get combat pay!

  2. Same thing you get here unless you have dependents, then you get an extra 250.00 or if you are deployed you get your pay tax free and 150.00 on up hazardous pay, and of course still the 250.00 for dependents, one time per month not per dependent.

  3. time have changed, I just got back from deployment last April. You will receive combat hazard duty pay depends on the hazard level of the FOB (foward operating base), then 100 dollars called save pay, then if your married you also receieve another 250 bucks for sepperation. You also receive 3.73 dollars a day for per deim that which you will not receive until the end of deployment once you turn in your travel papers (usually take three weeks for turn around unless S-1 takes there sweet time)

  4. first it depends on ur rank and what country u go2. when u go overseas they will give u cola (the more dangerous the more u get)

as an e1 u wont get to much. When i was in korea 04-05 i got $250 and i was an E3.

  5. CONGRATALATION FOR JOINING THE GREATEST BRANCH OF THE MILITARY!

You will be paid an extra 250.00 per if you server in a war zone,

    GOOD LUCK
