How much more horsepower will adding a cold air intake system to my car give me?

I am adding a Cold Air Intake system added to my car. It is an AEM Cold Air Intake. How much more horsepower will it give me. Will I see a big difference in acceleration and speed?

  1. It depends on what kind of car it is, a small engine can see any where from 4 to 8 horsepower gains where as a larger engine can see 10 to 15.


  2. You could see anywhere from a 4-15ish horse power increase.  As for acceleration and speed differences they will most likely be pretty small and unnoticeable.  For real power go to forced induction (turbo/supercharger).
