  1. Good Question but I dont think it will ever come down to that..

I guess with all the "disobedience" throughout the club its still only a handful that have brought the bad reputation to the club..

oh and I havent heard of any recent drug scandals sweeping through Sydney Swans Club rooms or private lives..

  2. Nothing.

Can you stop disguising yourself, X MAN, as you give yourself away with your constant questions in here knocking the WCE.

What causes you ther most angst? That WCE was the first team to take the premiership cup out of Vic? Or the fact that you resent the fact that your team gained a loser when they head-hunted Mick from the eagles.

    So funny...........

  3. i dont think the Eagles have done anything wrong this year

  4. well firstly - the wce didn't bring the game into disrepute - it was a player, not the team, whose actions were unacceptable.

secondly - the game is a bit bigger than one hot-headed action - we get the typical media frenzy and moralisation for a few days - and see more people than ever clamouring for the game.

next - 'the afl' would act if a 'team' was seen to act in a manner to bring the game into disrepute - but a tribunal process is needed to assess the actions of players - it is useful to trust that process.

IF as you may expect, the AFL took unilateral action against a team - THAT would be seen as improper and disreputable - as all must be seen to be "tried" by a democratic and fair "jury" of their peers - in an unbiased way - the AFL can't just dictate what it wants - an independent body (Supreme Court?) would be involved in such a radical case (which does NOT apply here)

the fact is - emotions run high in footy - on or off field.

take a look at the language in many of the footy questions on this site - you'll see what I mean -

but it was a fair enough question.

  5. it will never happen
