How much longer will the citizens of this country allow the abuse of power from our elected officials?

It is unlikely that they will ever revolt.  The American public is shockingly unaware of the actions, structure, power and limitations of our government, and they seem genuinely uninterested in changing that.

I think it will take allot more because if we do anything like that we would be considered terrorists.

Believe me, they might not have been ready for Katrina or other disasters but they are well repaired for what your talking about.

It will take a lot more  -  this is only the beginning.

I'm sure a Liberal could wipe us out in 4 years,  but if they flip/flop it could take up to 8 years to ruin this country.

Well they haven't really taken away the right to assemble. They haven't found a way around that in order to benefit them. They've taken away your guns, your speech, and pretty much everything else. But you can assemble, don't talk about overthrowing the government though. You will wind up with the FBI on your doorstep and be considered a terrorist. Then you'll see the magical terrorism level (thats disappeared in the past year) rise to like orange or something. The elected officials are millionaires 10x over. Why would you, as a millionaire, multi-millionaire take a job that pays 300,000 a year when you don't need a job? Because you need to protect your interests. The american people are too afraid to fix this mess so they'll keep tromping all over you. If your not a part of the solution your a part of the problem. Get use to being part of the problem.
