Question:

How much of a decrease in FAFSA help should I expect?

Right now I have the Pell Grant and pretty much the maximum financial aid possible since my EFC is 0. I was also just offered a position to work with a lawyer but my annual income should not exceed $8,500. My parents make barely any money, but should I expect a decrease in funds from FAFSA upon filing my tax returns?

  1. Getting a job now will not effect your financial aid this year. It will effect it next year. Depending on how much your parents acctually make and house hold size and if you acctually live with them. I know that if it was just you and that income of 8500 you would still have a very low efc and I would not worry, because if it does drop it would not be very much.
