  1. ''Which is better?'' Hmm now that's a toughie.

Balanced vegan and vegetarian diets are very healthy. But I think you can expect clearer skin, more energy, a more stable weight, and a number of other visible health benefits provided you have variety in your diet.

Oh yeah and there's the clearer conscience too! Vegan or vegetarian? They're both great!

  2. When I went Vegan from Vegetarian, I felt amazing.  I had better skin/nails/hair and more energy...as long as I was eating a healthy balanced diet.  When I reverted back to Vegetarian, I ate less eggs/cheese and I still feel pretty good. The key is to eat a healthy, balanced, diet.  I think vegan would be best because cheese products can be very difficult to digest for some people.  In fact, in some people, diary causes excess mucus in the body and they always feel like they have a bit of a cold.

  3. Hi Kata.............I think we should all eat a little of everything......do it all, in" moderation" .  I have a couple friends who are allergic to fish and alcohol.......so they have to totally give up those items And I have to say I feel for them. I think a little , walking.working, playingreading, helping, eating is good for all of us.  When we over do in any area's I think you will give up something in another. This is only my opinion, so sometime let me know why you want to be a vege , do you have an allergy to certain foods? Or is it do to your faith?..........Have a lovely day........enjoy please.

  4. well, i wuz vegan for a month, and i felt great, in just a month, my skin was clearer, i wuz more alert, and i used to always get back pain and head aches b4, then wen i wuz a vegan, i didn't get any of that, & plus your eyes get brighter. now i am a vegetarian, because im still very younge, still in school, and my parents weren't very supportive of buyin soy milk and stuff, but now that i am a vegetarian, i still rarely get headaches at all, i havn't had 1 in like a month, compaired 2 b4 wen i got 1 like everyweek, and i don't hav as many weight problems, and it's weird but i sleep better too. lol, results may vary. hope that helped

  5. Being vegetarian is easier, because it is less of a change than vegan-ism and it's not as restrictive.

You might want to start out vegetarian, and then slowly go to being vegan. First, eliminate all meat but fish, then eliminate fish, then milk and eggs, and then finally be completely vegan.

If you eat right, you probably shouldn't notice a change in your body or how you feel. You might feel better, and possibly lose weight/ body fat, since eating red meat is so fatty and almost unhealthy. I don't know if you'll crave meat; I never have.

It's possible to adjust to a lot of different diets.
