  1. Royal Caribbean gives discounts on future cruises two ways.  First you need to join their Crown and Anchor Society (RC's frequent cruiser club).  If you did not do it while on ship you can do it on-line on the RC web site.  You can get credit for you completed cruise there also.  RC gives discounts of $50 to $100 per person, depending upon the length of the cruise if you book a future cruise while on board the ship.

Then when you join the Crown and Anchor Society you can sign up for email and snail mail promotions.  They will send you emails of special discount cruises for Crown and anchor members.  When you receive the promotions they will tell you what the discounts are.  Some times the discount includes an on-board room credit of $100 per cabin, sometimes this is in addition to the cruise discount.

We have a 15 day cruise booked for next year that we booked on ship and we got $200 off, plus another $200 on board credit.  Make sure that whenever you book a cruise with RC that you give your C&A number.  The last cruise we did last month I didn't see a discount listed but they still gave us $100 off the total price as a C&A member.

  2. I don't think they do. for 1 cruise, but I may be wrong.  Have You signed up for their emails --     Crown and Anchor?  I think they occasionally send out discounts. Just go to the RCCL web site and you can sign up from there.

  3. None, don't expect this from any cruise line.

What they do is that if it is a seven day cruise or more, they invite you to this cocktail party for past guests and they give you a souvenir on the last night of the cruise as way of saying thank you for cruising with us again...

What you should try to take advantage in your next cruise is the future cruise consultant on-board the ship. Sometimes you are able to book a cruise with a $50 deposit, sometimes with a month to think on the ship and date....then they give you really good specials....

  4. Sorry, RCCL is not going to offer discounts for repeat cruises....not until you take like 30 cruises with them....

BUT what you should do is go on their website, and sign up for the Crown and Anchor society.   When you go back on your next cruise, you will be a gold member, and you'll receive a coupon book next time you sail - and get a free gift!   (Just a little travel tote, or frame)

    Have fun on your cruise!

  5. I have friends who tell me they get e-mails with past guest promotions.  They do not offer a set discount, but they offer discounts and upgrades to past guests for one and two day promos.  For example, I have a friend who had a past guest sale for 3rd and 4th guest for $99 each on any cruise up to seven days.

Carnival works in a similiar fashion.  With their past guest promotion, I booked a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise for 4 people for under $1400.  It is a matter of booking when the sale is going on.

  6. Royal Caribbean DOES offer discounts for repeat customers.

However, to qualify you must be a member of their Crown and Anchor Society.  Unlike on Princess, your membership is not automatic with the completion of your first cruise, you must sign up for Crown and Anchor.

Past passenger discounts on Royal Carribbean are not a set amount, and are typically only offered on select sailings.  Head over to the Crown and Anchor section of Royal  Caribbean's website and make sure your notification preferences are set to receive e-mails from the cruise line.  Periodically they send e-mails with past passenger deals.

In addition, check out the "member cruises" section of the Crown and Anchor portion of the Royal Caribbean Website.

Since past passenger discounts are only on select sailings, it would still be a good idea to look at ALL of Royal Caribbean's specials to see if there are other options that interest you with similar or better pricing.
