Question:

How much of a sound difference would 2 inches make?

i have a 10" mtx thunder 5500 in a sealed enclosure

what kind of improvement would i get with the same amp but with a 12" sub of the same kind

what other sub might be better?

  1. well if it is in the trunk then the 12" would give you louder deeper bass.  other subs to look into would be 12" kicker l7 or  

    12" alpine x both of those subs will bang even with just one in your trunk.  

    but i also has a friend who has two 12" 5500's and they sound pretty darn good


  2. ahh depends wat kind of bass u like and wat kind of vehicle its in.. ussaly 10's give tighter bass but not as low or loud.. depending if its in the trunk or right behind u in the back seat.. i would pick the 12 if it was in the trunk..

  4. get the spinning chromes that are 22inches
