  1. Stop whining about whether its a no hitter or not. We won the game didnt we? Geesh. It was one play. and who knows how he wouldve pitched if it was in his mind that he has a no hitter. the bottom line is we won the game

  2. I know, it's such bullsh!t.  That scorer should be fired.  Even if the Brewers win the appeal, it will never be the same.

  3. booo hoooo hooooo

  4. He is an A$$, that's why we have replay the officials can never get anything right

  5. god this pisses me off.

the brewers are appealing it but it wont be the same if they get it changed because CC never got to celebrate with his team mates on the field.

and they funny thing is when i was watching the game i noticed near the end of the game that the pirates fans were chanting change the hit!

  6. Every single official scorer is unfair for the home team. It sucks, I know. At a White Sox Orioles game an Oriole player hit a ground ball that Orlando Cabrera the "all star" shortstop booted and they counted it a hit and something very similar happened with a Sox batter and they called it an error.

  7. Yes, lets reward CC for dropping the ball.

Just take the play as it is.  Jeez.  It was in the 5th inning when it happened.  He had to go through the rest of the game with the no-hitter breathing down his neck.

If we went back in time and changed that ruling, who knows how the rest of the game would of ended.

  8. The problem is if it was ruled as an error, it changes everyone's mindset near the end of the game, the hitter will be trying harder for a hit and CC will have the extra pressure of trying for the no hitter.

  9. I agree.  I saw the call and definitely an error.  They just don't want him to have a no hitter.

  10. it was an error, but why should he get the credit for one when he misplayed that ball. don't get me wrong he pitched great, but he just doesn't deserve a no no

  11. yea he must have a fever, and the only cure is more cowbell.

  12. The scorer wouldn't know when it happened that it would be the only hit of the game.  The Brewers are appealing the call and anything can happen now.
