How much of a tip should I give at Mexico's Gran Bahia Principe resort Riviera Maya $ or Peso ?

How much is a reasonable tip to leave for the chamber maids, restaurant and bar staff at the Gran Bahia Principe All Inclusive resort on mexico's Riviera maya and should a tip be left in room every day or at the end of our 2 week stay and given to the bar staff with every roubd of drinks? We can use $US or Mexican Peso

$20.00 usd for the maids at the end.

Throw $ as you see fit  Remember they earn $5.00 a day.

Bag staff at most supermarkets are students and do not get paid by the store.

Gas station attendants a couple pesos and any waitress $15%

You dont HAVE to tip in Mexico. Not even bartenders.

Of course if you tip the bartender you'll get better service but its not like the states were tips are how they make thier income.

Taxes are also already in the price of all goods. Something I wish American stores would do.

tip the waiters about 15% so...if the check was 300 pesos it'll be about 45 or 50 pesos of tip

bring usd and lots of $1s. give everyone who does something for you a $1. Maids $1 per day, Waiters $1 per meal and bartender $1 per evening.
