How much of an effect will being 1/2 a lb low on r-22 in a central unit have.?

I have a 3 ton unit that is 6 ounces low on nominal capacity as a result of extra supply lines. Obviously this isnt enought to cause a freeze up but does anyone know just how much of an effect will actually result from being low by such a small amount? Thanks.

6 ounces shy of a good charge will have absolutely no effect.

Most likely it is fed by an expansion valve and it will still feed o.k.

However a pound or more could have an adverse effect.
