How much of an impact does a dirty car make on its drag coefficient?

This occurred to me while I was waxing my car. I realized how rough my car's paint gets between wax jobs. After waxing, I can run my hand effortlessly across the surface. I'm wondering how much of an impact a dirty car has on its overall performance and gas mileage.
