It varies by company.  its worth a call to your agent or compnay though as some give as much as a 10-20% discount for this.

This is all very variable. Depends on the type of business, and whether it is prone to being broken into, which can vary state to state. It also depends on the insurance company, some will give discounts, some won't. Only real way to know is to call them and ask them their discounts on your personal position.

It doesn't necessarily result in ANY discount.  Sometimes, it's a condition of having any coverage AT ALL.

Obviously, if you're talking about liability or workers comp, it's irrelevant, except for the payroll exposure.

Lastly, even if there IS a difference, each insurance company can decide how much of a difference there is.

Commercial property insurance is HIGHLY negotiable - the larger the exposure, the higher the premiums, the more negotiable the cost.
